But now, a new customer service app that offers more than one customer service channel is starting to show signs of life.
Google says it’s now testing a new service called edd that’s aimed at Amazon customers.
The app, dubbed edd, is being built by the company’s own customer service team.
Google says it is not currently working on edd as a standalone product, but that the team is working on a tool that can be used for “some of the things that we’ve talked about before.”
It’s unclear whether edd will be rolled out in the U.S. or elsewhere.
It was not immediately clear whether the app will be able to handle all Amazon customers, or just a few.
It also has been a long time since Amazon had a customer service platform with more than 100,000 customer reviews.
Google and Amazon both said they were looking to expand the edd service to help customers with issues they had reported.
Amazon says it has not yet launched edd.
Amazon’s customers have complained that it has struggled to respond to their customer service questions and issues.
“The new edd platform offers customers with multiple issues to use their voice, text, and email, which are both faster and easier to communicate with Amazon’s Customer Service team,” a Google spokesperson told Business Insider in an email.
“We’ve added some features to improve the customer experience, such as adding new options for customers to call and talk to Amazon customer service representatives.”
The new tool also supports Amazon’s customer reviews, which offer a new way to help you get help with your issue.
“We’re working to make edd easier to use and easier for you to interact with,” a spokesperson for edd told Business Insights.
“You can also use our new review tool to report an issue or request a feature, so you can see what’s going on with your experience with Amazon.”
Google also says edd has been in beta testing for a few months, and that it’s not yet ready to ship.
But, it says it plans to roll out edd in the coming months.
The company has been testing edd on its own customers for a while now.
The service has existed for years, but Amazon was the first to release it.
Google is already in the process of adding customer service features to its own product line, as well as to the Amazon app.
That includes new chat and video features, more tools for organizing your accounts, and a revamped voice recognition for the Amazon platform.
